When Gracewater Community Development purchased the Gracewater at Sarasota property, managing partners, Eldon Johnson and Terry Wolfram, felt there was nothing else like it. It includes 139 acres next door to a vibrant downtown, some of Florida’s best beaches, St. Armand’s Circle, amazing restaurants and so many other wonderful landmarks. They invested tremendous time and energy to meticulously craft a master-planned community that properly reflects the beauty of these wonderful Sarasota assets.
As they considered the homes that would reside at Gracewater at Sarasota, they felt deeply that these homes also need to reflect the exceptional nature of the community. They created Privada Homes, comprising a team that boasts over 40 years of residential construction experience with a track record of successfully building over 3,000 homes. Like Eldon, who has been a Sarasota resident for 23 years, The Privada Homes Team represents people who have lived and raised their families in Sarasota and care deeply for its community.

Rodney Tucker
Co-owner & Director of Construction
Rodney heads all of Privada Homes’s residential homebuilding operations. He has 25 years of experience in homebuilding and has supervised the construction of over 3,000 homes. Prior to Privada Homes, he spent 22 years with Toll Brothers, where he started and ran the Tampa division. Rodney has overseen the successful buildout of numerous high-end master-planned communities in the Sarasota and Tampa Bay areas. He prides himself on doing things the right way and building organizational teams with a focus on quality. Rodney spent seven years in the Marines, where he served and supported numerous military and humanitarian missions overseas. While in the Marines, Rodney earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from State University of New York. He is a licensed residential and commercial contractor and certified builder in five states.
Michaella Tucker
Senior Manager – Construction
Michaella is involved in design, purchasing and project management at Privada Homes with a focus on facilitating the entire construction process, including pre-construction concerns, budgets, subcontractors and production schedules. She brings over 20 years of experience within the residential and commercial construction industry, having extensive tenures with industry leaders such as Toll Brothers and Gilbayne Building Company. She has an undergraduate degree from Brown University and is a former professional soccer player. Michaella thrives in a team environment where everyone is working together to achieve lofty goals with high standards.
Arjun Kaul
VP Operations
Arjun leads Privada Homes’s day-to-day vertical operations. He has over 15 years of experience in real estate and has been involved in managing all aspects of homebuilding including land development, construction, warranty, marketing, and sales. Prior to Privada Homes, he worked with Toll Brothers and Medallion Homes, where he constructed over 500 homes across a variety of product lines. Arjun has an undergraduate degree and master’s degree in real estate investment and development from Columbia University.
Brett Dahl
General Superintendent
Brett Dahl is our general superintendent, managing all aspects of Privada Homes’s daily homebuilding operations. He makes the necessary changes to best meet construction deadlines while collaborating with our Homebuyers, Project Managers, and Construction Management team to efficiently align the budget and timeline from mobilization to completion.
Kathleen Gagg
Community Sales Manager
Kathleen Gagg is renowned for her exceptional attention to detail and concierge-style client services. She brings a strong work ethic to every transaction, working tirelessly to ensure seamless and stress-free experiences for her clients. She brings over 20+ years of real estate experience, extensive local knowledge, and a fine-tuned Interior designer’s eye to her work at Privada Homes.
Over the past decade, Kathleen managed an extensive collection of resort-style lifestyle communities for a national home builder providing needs analysis, lifestyle & concierge programming, brand recognition, theme development, training, and design. With this experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design under her belt, she can provide a unique combination of market and design knowledge. Known for her keen eye for architecture and interior design she has assisted many clients in staging their homes for better resale return. Her understanding of market trends enables her to assist clients in navigating the home buying and selling process.
A consistent top-producing agent, Kathleen has earned many accolades and awards throughout her career, including ranking among the 1% of Realtors®, as well earning the Silver & Gold and Platinum Level Circle of Excellence Awards while at RE/MAX.
She is also active in helping our military and their families by serving as Executive Director of Got Your Back Network. She has also been recognized by the United States Army as the Outstanding Citizen of the Year.
In her free time, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, paddle boarding, drawing, visiting new restaurants and traveling.
Mike Gagg

Mike Gagg is a seasoned real estate professional with over two decades of experience, known for his unwavering work ethic and attention to detail. He brings integrity, enthusiasm, and dedication to every transaction, guiding clients through seamless processes and exceeding their unique goals. As a veteran Realtor®, he takes pride in being an accessible and knowledgeable resource for clients in the Greater Sarasota market.
More than 25 years ago, he bought his first investment home, began flipping houses, fell in love with Real Estate, and has not looked back. With a focus on serving the Greater Sarasota market, he takes pride in always exceeding expectations. Mike prioritizes his clients’ needs, goals, and dreams and serves as a stress-free advisor throughout every transaction.
He is recognized for his proficiency in the real estate market, contracts, and negotiations, and has received multiple sales awards. He has achieved the Silver & Gold and Platinum Level Circle of Excellence Awards while at RE/MAX and was ranked among the top 1% of Realtors®.
Prior to real estate, Mike was a VP of Sales and led a team of over 20 sales associates on the East Coast, receiving numerous sales awards and was recognized as Salesperson of the Year for unsurpassed leadership skills.
Mike resides in Sarasota with his wife and kids. When he’s not working on behalf of his clients, he enjoys the beach, and exploring all that Sarasota has to offer—most importantly—spending time with his family.

VP of Finance
Erin is the driving force behind Privada’s financial operations. With a diverse background in accounting that spans various industries such as land development, property management, agriculture, remodeling, and custom home building, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Erin earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from East Carolina University, and she’s been a seasoned real estate broker for two decades. However, she finds her true passion in the behind-the-scenes intricacies of real estate transactions. Erin leverages her multifaceted experience in accounting, real estate, and operations to keep both Privada Homes and Gracewater at Sarasota at the forefront of efficiency and technological innovation.
